What You’ll Do:
As a Civil Designer, you will contribute to diverse engineering projects and collaborate with internal teams and clients. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing design concepts and collaborating with clients and internal teams
- Resolving project issues proactively with guidance from team members
- Producing high-quality documents adhering to in-house drafting standards
- Assisting in the creation and refinement of standards, templates, and best practices for the Civil Engineering Department
- Coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Setting up projects following company standards and creating custom AutoCAD content when needed
- Reviewing designs for accuracy, completeness, and quality
- Participating in process improvements and contributing ideas to enhance workflows and standards
About You:
- 3-15+ years of experience in Civil Engineering design
- Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, Civil 3d, HydroCAD, Bluebeam, or Infraworks
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Ability to occasionally travel to sites
