St. Josephs Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our outstanding OB/GYN team in Syracuse, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to practice full-scope midwifery in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside OB/GYN physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, diabetic educators, and ancillary staff.

St. Josephs Health OB/GYN program delivers approximately 1,700 babies annually, with our midwifery team and PCC OB/GYN practices accounting for approximately 750 births each year. Midwives provide comprehensive care to low- and moderate-risk obstetric patients, including prenatal care, labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and gynecologic services within their scope of practice.

Position Details:

- Provide full-scope midwifery care for low- and moderate-risk obstetric patients
- Deliver gynecologic services including wellness exams, contraceptive counseling, and family planning
- Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Manage patient care throughout the prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum continuum
- Perform FERN testing
- Opportunity to first-assist in C-sections (RNFA certification required)
- Circumcisions are optional but preferred

Qualifications:

- Board Certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Current New York State license required
- DEA certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- EFM-C certification required
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Compensation:
\n

- Competitive salary range of $139,307 - $150,583 annually
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shift incentives, or other forms of compensation as applicable
