We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a retail sales team of 21-30 employees. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will utilize various software tools such as POS systems, employee scheduling software, and inventory management tools to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires occasional travel to other store locations and focuses on optimizing team performance, customer service, and business forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 21-30 retail sales employees
- Adjust daily schedules to ensure optimal shift efficiency
- Train, evaluate, and develop staff to enhance performance
- Track monthly sales results and analyze trends for forecasting
- Resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and effectively
- Lead business forecasting and support operational planning
- Utilize POS, scheduling, and inventory management software daily
- Coordinate shift activities and ensure smooth store operations
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and team development qualities
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience
- Expertise in customer service and employee training
- Proven skills in scheduling and leadership
