Mike Carpino Ford Parsons are looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Service Advisor to join our team! Service Advisors are the primary point of contact between our customers and service department, helping ensure every customer receives clear communication, quality service, and a positive experience from start to finish.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly

  • Obtain customer and vehicle information

  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer

  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle

  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts

  • Establish follow up time

  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently

  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order

  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers

  • Create and manage repair orders

Service Advisor Requirements:

  • Previous experience at a dealership is a plus, but not required

  • Dependable, organized, and able to multitask
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization

  • Personal and professional attitude

  • Willing to learn DMS, processes, and automotive terminology

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

  • Basic computer skills

  • Positive, friendly attitude

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation

Starting pay: $16 per hour for the first 90 days, with the opportunity for increase following performance review.
