Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Envive Healthcare of River City in Evansville, Indiana. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and directing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Housekeeping Department, its programs and activities

Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., related to the housekeeping/laundry department

Interpret department policies and procedures to employees, residents, visitors, government agencies, etc.

Use accepted practices and procedures to keep the facility free from dust, dirt, and safety hazards

Clean and mop floors regularly and provide a non-slip finish

Clean and wash walls regularly

Work will be performed with the safety of the residents and employees in mind

Supervise housekeeping/laundry supplies

Responsibility for staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and schedule for department

Purchase necessary department supplies and equipment, as authorized

Organize, maintain, and store all department-specific supplies and equipment
Qualifications and Skills:

Applicant must possess strong organizational and management skills

High School Diploma or equivalent
