Based at our Ashburn, VA (20147) facility, you’ll be immersed in the heartbeat of our infrastructure. Your morning may start by reviewing monitoring dashboards and walking the floor to verify systems are steady. Midday could include swapping components, cabling new gear, or fine‑tuning configurations. When an alert pops, you’ll triage, troubleshoot, and escalate if needed. Before you wrap, you’ll capture everything you did—clearly documented and up to date.
What you’ll do
- Keep core data center systems healthy by observing performance indicators and addressing issues to preserve uptime.
- Carry out routine walk-throughs and scheduled preventive maintenance on servers and network equipment.
- Diagnose hardware and software problems; resolve or route to the appropriate team when beyond scope.
- Support deployments by installing, racking, cabling, and configuring new hardware and software.
- Record work performed, parts used, updates, and results in our tracking systems.
- Work closely with teammates to apply and improve operational best practices.
- Join an on-call rotation and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; industry certifications are beneficial.
- Foundational knowledge of data center workflows and IT infrastructure.
- Comfort with server components, basic networking, and systematic troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied hours as needed.

- Labeling systems for asset tracking and cable identification
- Multimeters for electrical verification and diagnostics
- Cable trays and related pathway hardware for clean, reliable cable management
