Key Responsibilities\n

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, learn coping techniques, and foster healing.

  • Engage in collaborative care by working alongside psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive support.

  • Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, available coping strategies, and community resources to enhance overall support.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.

  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed methodologies.

  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced profound trauma, including diverse populations affected by PTSD, childhood trauma, and other dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in crafting healing journeys that are sensitive to the unique narratives of each client, fostering an environment where healing is facilitated through understanding and compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
  • \n

  • Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care principles.

  • Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
