Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases
- Scan items and accurately process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues as needed
- Assist with inventory checks and restocking as required
- Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
