We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are delivered on time and that our warehouse operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in both delivery driving and warehouse tasks.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.
- Assist in warehouse operations such as inventory management, organization of stock, and general upkeep of the facility.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Clean driving record: experience driving box trucks and flatbeds is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and route planning.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
