Employment Type: W2 Contract – 12 Months with Possibility for Extensions
Pay Rate: $31.00–$33.00/hour – Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Role Overview
BEPC is seeking an experienced Systems Validation Engineer to support our customer’s Engineering and IT validation initiatives in San Angelo, TX.
This position focuses on Computer System Validation (CSV), Installation Qualification (IQ), manufacturing IT systems, Industrial IoT (IIoT), asset management, and MES project support. The engineer will develop and execute testing activities for connected industrial systems while supporting validation documentation, change management, and site procedure updates.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in engineering systems, manufacturing IT, or validation environments and can effectively collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and IT teams to drive project milestones and maintain system compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute automated and manual test scripts for Red Lion IIoT gateways, routers, and edge devices.
- Recreate complex industrial environments to evaluate system interoperability and performance.
- Test network protocols and connectivity, including OPC UA and cloud-connected systems.
- Perform regression, stress, and functional testing on embedded firmware and hardware.
- Support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for engineering, manufacturing, and connected-device systems.
- Support Installation Qualification (IQ) and related validation documentation activities.
- Assist with IQ/OQ documentation and execution as required.
- Review and approve Change Requests within Asset Management processes.
- Coordinate and execute NextGen MES project activities, including updates to site procedures and project deliverables.
- Work within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to create Change Projects.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for engineering and manufacturing IT systems.
- Develop, maintain, and update validation, technical, test, and project documentation.
- Support change management processes for engineering and manufacturing systems.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and IT stakeholders.
- Track project activities and support timely completion of milestones and compliance requirements.
- Identify and communicate technical or validation issues that could impact project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering systems, manufacturing IT, validation, or a related technical environment.
- Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV).
- Experience with IQ/OQ documentation and validation activities.
- Experience with change management processes.
- Ability to develop, execute, and document technical testing activities.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across Engineering, IT, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Ability to manage multiple technical and project priorities.
- Ability to work fully onsite in San Angelo, TX.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Experience with Industrial IoT (IIoT) or connected manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with industrial gateways, routers, and edge devices.
- Experience with Red Lion industrial networking or IIoT equipment.
- Familiarity with OPC UA and industrial network protocols.
- Experience testing embedded firmware and hardware.
- Experience with asset management systems and Change Requests.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering or manufacturing IT projects.
