Overview:

Are you looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a dynamic organization this summer? Kamatics Corporation is seeking motivated interns across various disciplines to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. This program offers a collaborative environment focused on learning, professional growth, and meaningful project work.

Interns will participate in a structured onboarding program, take on challenging assignments, contribute to a team-based project, and have the opportunity to give back through a volunteer day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Operations Project Manager with facilities-related projects

• Assist in managing facilities workflows and processes

• Help maintain and update the Limble system as needed

• Identify and recommend process improvements

• Contribute to 5S initiatives within the work area

• Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow all safety and environmental procedures

• Report any safety or environmental concerns to a supervisor

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electromechanical, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering preferred

Experience & Skills:

• Entry-level; prior internships or co-op experience is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• CAD experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

• Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting

• Ability to work around machinery, chemicals, and varying temperatures
