Position Overview
DNV EnerFab/Youngstown Pipe and Steel is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Fitter with a strong background in industrial fabrication and installation.&nbsp; The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, follows safety and quality standards and brings hands-on expertise in fitting.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Ability to fabricate and fit custom jobs per blueprint specifications</li>
<li>Measure, cut, and verify dimensions, alignments, and quality of welds through inspection and testing.</li>
<li>Assemble and install systems in shop settings.</li>
<li>Read and interpret drawings, P&amp;IDs, and material lists accurately.</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>1 year of experience preferred as a Fabricator/Fitter in industrial, fabrication or construction settings.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.</li>
<li>Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy piping.</li>
<li>Familiarity with ASME and AWS codes (preferred).</li>
<li>Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions and environments.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation</li>
