Job Description

i9 Sports Union County is looking for energetic, dependable and positive basketball coaches to join our team on Saturday mornings in Cranford.

This is a great weekend job for college students, teachers, former athletes, current coaches, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and basketball.

The Details

$19–$20/hour
Saturdays from 8:30am - 12:30pm
7-week seasons, with typically 1–3 weeks off in between

What You'll Do

Lead basketball practices and games
Teach fundamentals and skill development
Keep practices fun, positive and organized
Encourage teamwork and good sportsmanship
Communicate with players and parents
Create a safe and welcoming environment for young athletes

Who We're Looking For

Enjoys working with children
Energetic, positive and comfortable leading a group
Reliable and able to commit to the full 7-week season
Available on Saturday mornings till 12:30pm
Able to successfully complete a National Criminal Background Check

Coaching experience is preferred, but not required. We provide training and support.
