Pharmacy Technician – Order Entry | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Albany, NY 12205 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $25/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Plus 1–2 evenings per week: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Plus every 4th weekend: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pharmacy Technician – Order Entry | Summary and Highlights:
In this role, you will support pharmacy operations with a primary focus on order entry and prescription processing. Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you’ll help ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently while supporting day-to-day workflow needs.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician – Order Entry | Responsibilities:
- Perform order entry and assist with prescription processing
- Fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Support the pharmacy team with additional tasks as needed to meet daily workflow demands
Pharmacy Technician – Order Entry | Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Ability to work the full schedule/rotations listed in Required Availability (including evenings and every 4th weekend)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with routine computer/order entry tasks
- No certifications or license required (per job order)
