Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.

Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and other major mechanical repairs.

Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify faulty components and system malfunctions.

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.

Replace and repair worn or damaged parts, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.

Keep detailed records of services performed and parts used.

Maintain a clean and professional work area.

Communicate effectively with service advisors, other technicians, and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.

Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles from various manufacturers.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.

Valid driver's license.

ASE certifications (preferred).

Dependable attendance and professional work habits.

Experience with specific brands like Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram is a plus.
