Immediate hire for a motivated and technically skilled Test Systems Development Engineer/Field Service Representative to develop automated test solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) aircraft systems, including helicopters, fighters, heavy transport, and unmanned aircraft. Position involves developing test applications for company test equipment, designing custom test adapter cables, and writing software scripts to control test analyzers and perform electrical and component-level measurements.
Required Qualifications:

- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, equivalent military experience, or an associate degree with at least two years of relevant technical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical test requirements.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with at least two programming languages.
- Successful completion of a technical assessment demonstrating electrical circuit comprehension.

Bonus Skills: \n

- Experience with automated cable and electrical test equipment, DITMCO, CK Technologies, or Cable Test systems.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining aircraft avionics systems and electrical wiring.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, C#, or VBScript.
- Experience developing automated test programs and instrument control scripts for electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of electrical measurements, electronic components, sensors, and semiconductor testing.
- Experience designing aerospace or avionics test adapter cables, including electrical interfaces, cable assemblies, and aircraft connectors.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
- Understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
