Job Description QA Receiving Inspector – 1st shift
Whippany, NJ | $20/hr
PROSTAR Staffing is partnering with a wellestablished pharmaceutical packaging warehouse in East Hanover, NJ, and we’re seeking a QA Receiving Inspector to join their growing team.
Shift 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform inprocess and finished product inspections on packaging lines
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, internal procedures, and customer specifications
- Conduct and document line clearance, line cleaning, and endoflot activities
- Review packaging orders, batch records, and labeling components for accuracy
- Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, weights, calibration, and component approvals
- Monitor temperature and humidity requirements
- Ensure proper gowning, PPE, safety, and cleanliness in the packaging area
- Reconcile labels and products at job completion
- Support QA operations as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of QA/QC or manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Able to work in a fastpaced, GMPregulated environment
- Noise levels may be moderate to high
