Job Title: Technical Support Analyst Location: Vienna, VA (Onsite) Position Type: Multi-year contract Great opportunity with top-tier financial company! Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop and hardware issues, including imaging and deploying laptops and desktops for onboarding
- Support break/fix hardware troubleshooting and repair, managing issues from start to finish
- Test and validate returned devices through the return merchandise authorization (RMA) process
- Manage IT asset recovery efforts through return and offboarding tickets, including device scanning in and out
- Fulfill software installation, updates, and troubleshooting requests
- Support virtual environment tasks such as VM requests and related issues
- Work on-site at headquarters five days a week, ensuring timely and effective technical support
Requirements
- 1-5+ years of desktop/technical support experience
- Experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide daily updates and status reports
- Proficiency in imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting laptops and desktops
- Ability to support hardware and software troubleshooting end-to-end
- Comfortable working onsite at headquarters
