Warehouse Worker

Department: Warehouse & Logistics | Reports To: Warehouse Manager | Location: Milburn Demolition — Tampa, Fl


Position Overview

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the company warehouse, equipment yard, and logistics system that supplies tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles to demolition projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring field crews receive the correct equipment, tools, and consumables on time and that all items returning from job sites are inspected, maintained, and properly tracked.

Warehouse Workers assist with receiving, inventory control, equipment maintenance support, shipping logistics, scrap processing, and overall warehouse organization. The position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

Receiving & Equipment Intake

· Check tools and equipment back in from job locations

· Inspect tools and equipment for damage or missing components — tag equipment requiring repair or maintenance

· Log returned equipment into the FieldFlo system

· Refuel all equipment returning to the warehouse and log fuel usage in the fuel tracker

· Clean and prepare equipment for redeployment

· Maintain organization of tools and equipment in their assigned locations

Shipping & Jobsite Logistics Support

· Print FieldFlo pick lists for scheduled deliveries

· Pull equipment and materials in a timely manner and verify correct quantities

· Ensure equipment is fully operational before loading

· Load trucks safely with proper weight distribution

· Communicate with drivers regarding delivery sequencing and load placement

· Ensure trucks are clean and ready for loading

Equipment Cleaning & Basic Maintenance Support

· Power wash and clean equipment returning from job sites

· Perform minor repairs on small tools and equipment

· Assist the Shop Mechanic with routine equipment service including skid steers, Sherpas, ride-on floor scrapers, delivery trucks, pickup trucks, and hand tools

· Help maintain parts inventory used for routine repairs

· Assist with equipment inspection checklists in FieldFlo

Scrap Processing & Material Handling

· Build Gaylord containers or scrap boxes on pallets

· Sort materials by grade and type

· Weigh scrap materials and document tare weight, net weight, and gross weight

· Label scrap shipments clearly and photograph each Gaylord or pallet for documentation

· Assist with loading scrap shipments onto vendor trucks

Inventory Control & Warehouse Organization

· Stock consumables and warehouse supplies

· Update inventory records in FieldFlo

· Assist with quarterly warehouse inventory counts

· Identify low stock items and report them to management

· Ensure equipment, tools, and materials are stored properly

Warehouse Housekeeping & Safety

· Perform daily sweeping and removal of trash or debris

· Keep equipment storage areas organized and accessible

· Ensure aisles, exits, and workspaces remain clear at all times

· Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements

· Wear required PPE and report hazards immediately

Qualifications & Requirements

· 1–3 years of warehouse, construction, or equipment handling experience preferred

· Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment

· Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments

· Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently and accurately

· Forklift experience preferred — certification required or ability to obtain

· Valid driver's license preferred
