We are seeking a Furniture Warehouse Associate to join our growing company and team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks within our warehouse, including receiving and processing incoming furniture shipments, preparing, building, and organizing orders for delivery or pickup, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Ability to operate and maintain a delivery vehicle with a clean and valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments
Inspect furniture for damages and report any issues to management
Label and store furniture in designated locations within the warehouse
Accurately pick and pack customer orders for delivery of pickup
Prepare furniture for delivery by wrapping and securing items in accordance with company procedures
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 100 lbs)
Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory counts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to pass a background check
