Job Description

Avir Trilogy is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team!

We're looking for a CNA who understands that this job is made of small things done consistently, answering the call light quickly, turning someone before it's a problem, noticing the change in a resident before anyone else does. You'll provide direct daily care to your assigned residents and be the person who knows them best.

It's demanding work, and it's the work our residents feel most. The CNAs here are the reason families trust us with the people they love.

If you're dependable, kind, and want your work to matter to the people you care for, we'd like to meet you.

Not certified yet? We'll work with you. Certification is required within four months of hire, so apply today or stop in to meet the team.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist residents with all activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mouth care, shaving, skin care, and peri-care.

  • Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents at least every two hours and as needed.

  • Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs.

  • Assist residents with walking and transport, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation.

  • Assist with feeding, offer fresh water, and encourage fluid intake.

  • Keep hearing aids, dentures, and eyeglasses clean, working, and in place.

  • Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed.

  • Provide catheter care as required.

  • Use assistive devices such as hand rolls, pads, pillows, splints, and TED hose to maintain proper positioning and body alignment.

  • Make beds and handle linen properly to prevent the spread of infection.

  • Follow infection control and universal precautions, including aseptic and isolation technique.

  • Report all incidents and accidents immediately, and correct unsafe conditions right away.

  • Participate in fire safety and disaster preparedness drills, and know emergency procedures.

  • Participate in the comprehensive assessment of each resident's nursing needs, and review care plans for the information needed to provide appropriate care.

  • Honor resident rights and personal property, knock before entering, use privacy curtains, and treat every resident with kindness, dignity, and respect.

  • Greet newly admitted and transferred residents and introduce yourself.

  • Attend a minimum of 12 mandatory in-services per year.

Exciting Benefits for Certified Nursing Assistant:

  • Competitive compensation.

  • Daily Pay - access your earned wages before payday!

  • 401k with a match!

  • Company paid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO) Program.

  • Health insurance for the entire family!

  • Scrubs on Wheels.

  • Voluntary Benefits reviewed and provided at your one-on-one benefit meeting.

  • Exceptional Corporate Support.

Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistant:

  • Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.

  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.

  • Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.

  • Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or at times upset.

  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and safely assist with resident transfers.
