Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Greenville, SC
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Tuesday–Thursday | 3x12 Hours | 36 Hours/Week
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate
Local: $62 – $66/hr
Traveler: $66 – $70/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform safe and accurate MRI procedures while providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care during overnight shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • Current ARRT(MR) certification.

  • Valid state license.

  • Current BLS certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience.

  • Previous Level I Trauma experience.

  • Strong MRI and diagnostic imaging experience.

  • Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.

  • First-time travelers may be considered based on relevant experience.

  • Willingness to float to other units or campuses within documented competencies and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures safely and accurately according to physician orders and facility protocols.

  • Prepare patients for MRI examinations, explain procedures, and ensure appropriate screening and safety.

  • Operate MRI equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Review patient history and clinical information to determine appropriate imaging protocols.

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records using EPIC.

  • Follow MRI safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

  • Provide appropriate care for patients with complex and trauma-related conditions.

  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain equipment and promptly report technical or safety concerns.

  • Float to qualified units or campuses as operational needs require.

  • Follow hospital, infection-control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
