Physical Therapist – Hand Therapy
Schedule: Full-Time | Weekdays
Practice Setting: Private Outpatient Practice
Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 per year, plus benefits
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist with an interest or experience in Hand Therapy to join a growing outpatient rehabilitation team in Stockton, California.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and wants to build or continue developing expertise in hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation. You will work with patients to restore mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and help them return to the activities that matter most.
A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is a plus but is not required.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with hand, upper-extremity, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Build strong relationships with patients while delivering an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
- Experience or a strong interest in Hand Therapy and upper-extremity rehabilitation
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive compensation package of $80,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
