Job Title - Cloud & Python Systems Engineer

\n

Location - Hybrid in Warren, NJ – 4 days per week in office

\n

Role Type - 6-month Contract-to-Hire

\n

Must Have Skills:

\n

    \n
  • Hands-on technical generalist with experience spanning software development, IT/cloud infrastructure, APIs, automation, systems administration, and troubleshooting
  • \n

  • Strong Python development skills with Django or comparable Python web framework experience
  • \n

  • Hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
  • \n

  • Docker/container experience
  • \n

  • Ability to independently research and solve unfamiliar technical problems across a broad technology stack
  • \n

Responsibilities and Job Details:

\n

    \n
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Python/Django applications and backend services
  • \n

  • Build Python scripts, automation tools, REST APIs, and third-party integrations
  • \n

  • Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments, with an emphasis on GCP
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, authentication, and integration issues
  • \n

  • Work across databases, application servers, APIs, cloud-hosted services, and IT systems
  • \n

  • Automate repetitive engineering, IT, and operational processes
  • \n

  • Support containerized applications and modern deployment technologies
  • \n

  • Assist with monitoring, logging, application reliability, and security
  • \n

  • Research new APIs, platforms, and technologies and determine practical integration approaches
  • \n

  • Collaborate directly with engineering and product teams in a small, cross-functional environment
  • \n

  • Contribute broadly across software development, cloud infrastructure, automation, integrations, and AI initiatives
  • \n

  • Operate as an adaptable technical problem solver who can move between development and systems/infrastructure work as business needs evolve
  • \n
