Aggregate Lab Technician
Job Description
This position conducts basic, standardized materials lab testing; records test results and provides data to others; and assists in the maintenance and calibration of materials lab testing equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
\n
One year of experience in a combination of any roadway construction, engineering support or roadways maintenance areas such as: soils, traffic, surveys, design, construction, hydraulics, maintenance etc.
\n
OR
\n
Education Substitution: The following four-year degrees: Architectural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering; Land Surveying / Geomatics; or equivalent may substitute for one year of experience. (In order for education coursework to be considered in lieu of work experience you must submit a copy of your transcripts.)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
\n

- Aggregate Production Tester
\n
\n
\n
AND at least one of the following MnDOT Technical Certifications, and able to obtain the remaining within one year or as training is available:

- Grading and Base Tester Certification
- Bituminous Plant Tester Certification
- Concrete Field Tester Certification
- Concrete Plant Tester Certification
- Concrete Strength Tester Certification
