OCM & LMS Transformation Lead - Contingent
Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are sourcing a contingent OCM — LMS Transformation Lead for an upcoming proposal with a national healthcare association. Inclusion on the proposed project team does not guarantee a subcontract, start date, minimum number of hours, or minimum compensation.
You will lead the people, process, governance, communications, training, and adoption activities associated with the client’s transition to a new LMS. A separate technology vendor will implement the platform. This role will work closely with that vendor while leading the organizational changes necessary for successful adoption.
This hands-on role combines change strategy, project leadership, stakeholder facilitation, business-process design, communications, training, readiness assessment, and implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day lead for OCM activities.
- Develop and execute a practical change-management strategy and work plan.
- Apply a recognized change framework while adapting it to the client’s culture, capacity, and implementation timeline.
- Facilitate discussions with executive leaders, work groups, program teams, technical staff, and external learners.
- Develop stakeholder maps, impact assessments, readiness assessments, risk registers, and adoption plans.
- Help establish governance, decision rights, roles, responsibilities, and accountability for the client’s learning portfolio.
- Facilitate alignment among teams with different programs, audiences, funding requirements, and working practices.
- Support the development of consistent processes for free, member-based, and fee-based learning programs.
- Help define which content belongs in the LMS and which should remain on websites, community platforms, events, or other channels.
- Develop practical tools for prioritizing, updating, consolidating, archiving, retiring, and migrating content.
- Work with the LMS vendor to define and document staff and learner workflows.
- Coordinate organizational aspects of user acceptance testing, including participant selection, scenarios, feedback, and readiness findings.
- Develop internal and external communications plans supporting the LMS transition and launch.
- Design and deliver role-based staff training, job aids, videos, checklists, and support materials.
- Help prepare staff and learners for go-live and identify interventions for adoption risks.
- Support early post-launch evaluation, feedback collection, issue prioritization, and continuous improvement.
- Transfer tools, processes, and responsibilities to client staff before engagement close.
- Maintain project documentation and provide timely status, risk, decision, and progress reporting.

- Availability throughout the anticipated project period - December 2026–June 30, 2027, with a possible short extension through August 2027
