<h3>Job Description</h3>
We are hiring for a Fiber Optic Technician to support installation, splicing, troubleshooting, and repair work across the tri-state area. This is a fast-paced field role for someone comfortable adapting to changing schedules and working on both live and dark fiber.

Responsibilities
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Splice, fuse, prepare, and install fiber optic cables.</li>
\n
<li>Work on both live and dark fiber.</li>
\n
<li>Install terminal boxes and auxiliary equipment.</li>
\n
<li>Troubleshoot fiber issues and complete repairs.</li>
\n
<li>Record accurate splicing details and field notes.</li>
\n
<li>Use EXFO OTDR and iOLM software for testing and analysis.</li>
\n
<li>Follow OSHA, state, city, and company safety requirements.</li>
\n</ul>

Required Skills
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Previous construction or installation experience required.</li>
\n
<li>Experience splicing, fusing, preparing, and installing fiber optic cable.</li>
\n
<li>Experience working on live and dark fiber.</li>
\n
<li>Knowledge of EXFO OTDR and iOLM software required.</li>
\n
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
\n
<li>Able to travel to Staten Island and work throughout the tri-state.</li>
\n
<li>Able to work in varied weather, confined spaces, and at elevations using ladders or scissor lifts.</li>
