Role Description This full-time, on-site Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist role is based in San Diego, CA and involves providing direct speech and language assessment and treatment to pediatric clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans via student IEPs, delivering therapy sessions, and monitoring progress. The role requires maintaining accurate clinical documentation, communicating regularly with families about goals and strategies, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support carryover across settings. The slp will also use bilingual skills to deliver services in more than one language, ensuring culturally and linguistically appropriate care, and may participate in outreach, education, and interdisciplinary meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Speech Therapy and effective treatment of Speech sound production and language based concepts.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of Communication Disorders and experience addressing Articulation and language challenges.
  • \n

  • Experience working with Pediatrics and tailoring interventions to children and adolescents.
  • \n

  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide clinical services bilingually.
  • \n

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • \n

  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • \n

  • Strong interpersonal, counseling, and family education skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • \n

  • Commitment to culturally responsive practice, ethical standards, and ongoing professional development.
