Job Description
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate the restaurant's POS system and process cash, credit, debit, and other approved payments
• Handle cash responsibly and maintain an accurate cash drawer
• Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, specials, and restaurant policies
• Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen team
• Ensure customers receive accurate orders and appropriate condiments, utensils, and other items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter and dining area
• Assist with packaging takeout and delivery orders
• Monitor customer needs and provide excellent customer service
• Address customer concerns professionally and notify management when assistance is needed
• Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, and cash-handling procedures
• Assist other team members during busy periods when needed
• Restock front-of-house supplies
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout each shift
Qualifications
• Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working with cash and operating a POS system
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
• Willingness to learn and follow Jerk Fry City procedures
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other high-volume periods as scheduled
