The Senior Structural Engineer will help lead and grow a Construction Support Engineering (CSE) team within a collaborative, 22-person firm. In this role, you oversee structural design projects, review RFIs and shop drawings, resolve field issues, prepare proposals, and mentor a team of engineers. You apply strong attention to detail, maintain responsive communication with customers, and effectively navigate language barriers. This position offers hybrid flexibility after initial training, profit sharing, performance-based bonuses, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping a growing team.

- Resolve field issues by collaborating with contractors and project teams, providing practical and effective structural solutions.
- Prepare detailed proposals, including scope, schedule, and technical approach, to support new and ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to manage workload, priorities, and project timelines.

Work Environment
This role is based in a smaller, close-knit company of about 22 people, where you will work alongside five other engineers, three of whom serve as project managers. The culture is laid back and collaborative, with the ability to wear casual attire in the office. After spending a few weeks on site for training, you can transition to a hybrid schedule with flexibility on certain days (such as Monday and Friday). You will be instrumental in building out a new Construction Support Engineering (CSE) team and will work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including office buildings, multifamily housing, hotels, assisted and independent living facilities, schools, retail buildings, religious facilities, and clubhouses.
