A publicly traded, global medical technology company is developing AI-powered, image-guided surgical platforms used in operating rooms worldwide. Their Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions support surgeons with real-time guidance during orthopaedic procedures. As they scale their regulated software platform, they are hiring a Senior DevOps & Release Engineer to own the Linux infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes behind it.

What you'll do:

- Own the build, packaging, release, rollback, and patch management process for Linux based medical software
- Administer Debian Linux systems on bare-metal devices, not the cloud
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or TeamCity, ensuring every output is auditable
- Implement security controls, including least-privilege access, secrets management, and audit logging
- Support FDA inspections, ISO audits, and validation activities through clear documentation
- Support lifecycle management of ML/AI inference components, including versioning and traceability
- Mentor junior DevOps and platform engineers

What you'll bring:
\n
- \n
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Deep Linux administration, ideally Debian or Ubuntu
- Bare-metal or on-premise systems experience
- Python, Bash, and C++ programming
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, or a similar CI/CD platform
- GitHub administration and source control governance
- Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences (preferred)
- Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971
