Job DescriptionAbout the Role

Join a team building AI-powered systems for digital and location-based wellness and fitness providers. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own technical delivery from early client discussions through production deployment, while bringing field insights back to the core product.

What You'll Do

• Lead client delivery from demos and requirements gathering through design sessions, implementation, testing, and production deployment.
• Architect and build AI agents and insight products using platform capabilities such as feature stores, knowledge bases, and agent orchestration tools.
• Integrate client data systems, including CRMs and wellness applications, and build ingestion and ETL pipelines for varied data sources.
• Work directly with client data and technical teams to translate workflows into production AI-powered solutions.
• Share patterns and lessons from client engagements with the product team to help shape platform direction.

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 15 years of experience shipping customer-facing production software, including complex end-to-end systems.
• Strong software architecture skills, including system design, integration decisions, API design, fallback strategies, and communicating technical tradeoffs.
• Fluency in modern programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and JavaScript, plus working knowledge of data engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with technologies such as React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, AWS or GCP, Docker, CI/CD, LLM orchestration, and vector stores.
• A startup-minded, autonomous approach and polished client-facing communication skills, including presenting to executives and leading technical working sessions.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $170,000 to $205,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Remote within the United States, with New York, New York as the primary location.
