Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics, including drivability, electrical, and check engine light diagnosis
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and vehicle performance concerns
- Perform engine and transmission removal and replacement
- Complete vehicle inspections, general automotive repair, and maintenance
- Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles
- Maintain consistent production while delivering quality diagnostic and repair work
- Handle a workload consisting of approximately 50% diagnostics and 50% repair and maintenance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Heavy-line automotive repair experience
- Ability to consistently produce 50+ flagged hours
- Own professional automotive technician tools
- ASE certifications preferred
- Missouri State Inspection License preferred, or willingness to obtain; advanced drivability diagnostic experience preferred
