Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Picture this: It's 7:00 a.m. on a bustling industrial site in Clarksville. You review the day's plan, slip on your PPE, and team up with welders, pipe fitters, and electricians to bring new production lines to life. By mid-morning, you've precision-aligned a motor to a pump using dial indicators, leveled a gearbox to spec, and verified conveyor tracking. After lunch, you’re interpreting mechanical drawings to dismantle an aging machine, rigging and relocating it across the plant with hoists and come‑alongs—every lift choreographed, every bolt torqued, every measurement spot-on. That’s a day in the life at Holland Sharpe.

What you’ll do

• Install, assemble, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and production equipment across project sites.
• Perform mechanical installation and precision alignment for motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Execute accurate leveling, measuring, and positioning to achieve tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and machinery to restore uptime.
• Replace bearings, shafts, couplings, belts, chains, sprockets, and other wear components.
• Use hand and power tools along with rigging gear, hoists, come-alongs, and precision measuring instruments.
• Assist with safe rigging, lifting, positioning, and final installation of heavy equipment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-trade teams (welders, pipe fitters, electricians) on industrial projects.
• Adhere to all jobsite safety procedures, PPE requirements, and project-specific safety standards.
