Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Duration: 12 months Contract

Job Experience Level: Senior (10 Years)
Role Objectives:
- These roles will be part of the Data Strategy team supporting Capital Markets and Securities teams and related broker-dealer and swap-dealer entities.
- Actively participate in the development of the data platform in close coordination with internal technology and data teams.
- Contribute to the establishment of a reference data system for securities and pricing data, with plans to expand into additional data domains.
- Follow internal development standards and contribute to the overall objectives of the Data Strategy team.
- Implement the strategic data platform on the organization's Azure Cloud Platform using the required solutions and technologies outlined below.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10 years of relevant experience in software/data engineering.
- Strong experience as a Full Stack Python/PySpark Developer.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure Cloud.
- Experience implementing solutions using:
- Azure Cloud Services
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Lake Gen2
- Azure Databases
- Azure Data Fabric
- API Gateway Management
- Azure Functions
- Azure Databricks
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Strong SQL skills with RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
- Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle, including Git, Jenkins, and related tools.
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong understanding of data engineering and software development practices.
- Ability to develop scalable and reliable data solutions using Python and PySpark.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial instruments is a plus.
- Experience with different asset classes is a plus.
- Experience working with market data is a plus.
