The Assistant Project Manager will support large-scale projects by coordinating various project activities to ensure timely and within-budget delivery. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and cross-functional teams to maintain seamless communication and efficient resource management throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and schedules to meet deadlines
- Manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deliverables are tracked
- Track project budgets and control expenditures
- Allocate resources effectively across project tasks
- Facilitate communication among internal and cross-functional teams
- Prepare and deliver regular project reports
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Support quality control processes to ensure project standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Project Engineer or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficient computer skills in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the new-construction field.
- Associate degree and/or trade school.
- 1+ years of experience in project management
- Proficiency in project scheduling and budget management
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective problem-solving and time management abilities
