Electronic Technician
6+ month contract-to-hire position
Job Overview
This is a 1st shift, 100% on-site role. You will assemble, repair, debug, and maintain electrical controllers, power supplies, and PCB boards.
Requirements: At least 2+ years of professional experience and a strong ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. Must have good Electrical Theory
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly: Wire and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, power supplies, and PCB components.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose, debug, and repair electrical systems and breakdowns quickly.
- Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance and system upgrades.
- Documentation: Log all work, manage engineering inventory, and update drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Communication: Give clear repair timelines to the team and report progress to managers.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Core Skills: Strong soldering skills, control panel wiring, and ability to read technical drawings.
- Tools: Proficient with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and hand/power tools.
- Knowledge: Understanding of electrical components (resistors, relays, breakers, etc.). BOM/ECO lifecycle knowledge is a plus.
- Physical: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and strictly follow all site safety rules.
