Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support licensing and contract activities for a Contract position based in Gainesville, Georgia. This role will focus on preparing and managing agreement documentation, maintaining accurate records, and helping the team stay ahead of renewal dates and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with licensing matters, contract administration, and legal research, along with the ability to identify concerns and keep work moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, examine, and manage licensing agreements to support accurate and timely contract processing.
• Track renewal deadlines, expiration dates, and ongoing obligations to help ensure agreements remain current and enforceable.
• Coordinate internal reviews, obtain required approvals, and oversee signature collection through final execution.
• Organize and maintain licensing files, legal records, and contract data within designated tracking systems.
• Review agreement language and produce concise summaries that highlight important terms, commitments, and possible areas of concern.
• Perform legal and regulatory research related to licensing and compliance matters to support informed decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to keep contract workflows moving and resolve documentation gaps or outstanding items.
• Assist with updates to contract records or related systems as needed to support operational continuity.• Prior experience working as a Paralegal with a focus on licensing, contracts, or agreement management.
• Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and administer licensing agreements with a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of contract lifecycle activities, including approvals, execution, renewals, and record retention.
• Experience conducting legal or regulatory research and translating findings into practical guidance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain detailed documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and summarizing legal terms.
• Proficiency with contract databases, document tracking tools, or related legal support systems.
