Job Title: Equipment Technician
Location: Morrisville, NC

Scope of the Job:
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic and mechanical equipment
- Carry out routine checks and tests; take corrective action where necessary
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults and malfunctions
- Carry out modifications and upgrades
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM)
- Performing and improving the programs and procedures
- Order and maintain inventory of spare parts and components
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and customers
- Maintain a safe work environment (may include housekeeping, labeling, and proper disposal of waste)
Required Skills & Experience:
Education/Experience
- High school degree or equivalent education or equivalent experience in semiconductor industry
- Experience in a manufacturing facility
- 1+ years of experience with semiconductor tools
- Prior experience in semiconductor industry preferred
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication or packaging/testing processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, production schedules, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments and follow strict safety/cleanliness protocols.
Technical Skills
- Ability to use a variety of power and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical, vacuum systems and related components
- Comfortable with working with gas and chemical delivery systems
- Able to troubleshoot and run multiple projects concurrently with little supervision
- Basic computer skills
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Experience working with Thin Film Tools, Wet and dry etch, Photolithography, & CMP

Work Conditions
- Environment: Cleanroom (gowning required) eye protection, masks, booties, gown, etc.
- Shift work: May be required (flexible based on company needs).
- Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods, kneeling, squatting, handling small components, working with machinery lifting 2-45 lbs
