Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position requires operating a cherry picker forklift and safely riding the platform at elevated heights while wearing a required safety harness. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working at heights and maintaining high accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker forklift to pick and stock products in high racking systems
- Stand and ride on the cherry picker platform while secured with a safety harness
- Retrieve inventory from elevated locations (20–30+ feet high)
- Use RF scanners to pick, scan, and verify orders
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations at all times
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of cherry picker forklift experience (required)
- Experience working at elevated heights with required fall protection equipment (required)
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- RF scanner experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual
