Job DescriptionMust be willing to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Pay 12.00 dlls per hour.
A Ride Operator must have the ability to operate rides safely and correctly. This position calls for someone who is very people oriented. Verbal communication skills are extremely important. Must have a complete understanding of the ride operator process and must enjoy working outdoors. A ride operator must be able to work well under pressure, be a team player, and be customer service oriented.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Must have excellent guest service skills.
- Must be able to operate mechanical amusement rides safely and correctly.
- Must work honestly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must follow park safety guidelines and procedures.
- Must be willing to help other departments as needed.
- Responsible for checking work schedule and being on time when scheduled to work.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to present new and innovative ideas on how to improve procedures, etc.
- Must possess good math and writing skills.
- Must have a high sense of commitment, as well as good people skills.
- Must be dependable and honest.
- Must be able to perform other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by Management
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Running, being able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, and basic math, reading, and writing skills.
