SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:&nbsp;&nbsp;

QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;
Minimum of a Master’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Agriculture or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in Aquaculture Nutrition Research.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Experience with the manufacture of research diets for shrimp and finfish.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Experience with shrimp and finfish production.&nbsp;

Primary Job Responsibilities: Daily works with dispatch, office and drivers in an effort to ensure all types of trucks and trailers are filled and emptied as needed. Completes this by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
• Works with the office clerk to ensure that all trucks that are checking in for delivery are accounted for.
• Backs up box and semi-trailers to the docks as needed.
• Directs the drivers of the loaded trucks to the proper unloading dock.
• Reads and understands shipping schedules for all outgoing Dutch Farms trucks that have been loaded.
• Reads and understands delivery shipping paperwork to verify the correct product and quantity.
• Is able to communicate with the delivery driver both verbally and through written work that the load is received in and/or make adjustments as needed to the paperwork.
• Must ensure that received product paperwork is complete and returned to the warehouse office for processing.
• Is responsible to remind each delivery driver of the need for wheel chocks, and other safety measures before unloading the truck.
• Will communicate with the Replenishing Supervisor to ensure that the trailer will be unloaded as soon as possible.
Qualification/Profile:
• Must be able to physically handle working in an outside environment for a large portion of the working shift.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift and rotate. PDL (Physical Demand Limit) generally is at 50-70 lbs with occasional PDL at 120 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail and common sense in daily activities.
• Understands and reads English to ensure the proper product matches what is suppose to be received into the warehouse.
• Understands and uses basic math to ensure an accurate count of the delivered product is equal to what was ordered.
• Works well in a team environment including being able to work with a diverse group of people from all aspects of the Dutch Farms business as well as outside vendor trucking employees.
• Works with a minimal amount of supervision and is a productive member of his/her department by adhering to all Dutch Farms policies.

Daily Safety Inspections &amp; Hazard Identification:

<li>Perform daily vehicle inspections, walkthroughs of the jobsite to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions, especially where it involves our drivers and fleet.</li>
<li>Document and report unsafe acts, conditions, vehicle repairs, and near misses, taking immediate corrective actions when necessary.</li>
<li>Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.</li>
<li>Inspect and ensure that all vehicles, machinery and equipment on-site are operating safely and meet regulatory standards.</li>
</ul>
Safety Training &amp; Awareness:
<ul>
<li>Conduct safety orientations for new workers and subcontractors before they begin work on-site especially where it involves our drivers and their required training.</li>
<li>Lead regular toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote safety awareness and address any concerns.</li>
<li>Daily vehicle and equipment inspection spot checks.</li>
<li>Ensure all workers are trained in the proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).</li>
<li>Assist in the development and implementation of specialized safety training as needed for high-risk tasks.</li>
</ul>
Incident Reporting &amp; Investigation:
<ul>
<li>Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-misses, including root cause analysis, especially where it involves a driver.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, corrective actions, and follow-up procedures.</li>
<li>Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and preventative measures based on incident findings.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of all incidents and safety reports.</li>
</ul>
Emergency Preparedness &amp; Response:
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain emergency response procedures, including fire, medical, and evacuation plans.</li>
<li>Ensure emergency response equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, eyewash stations) is readily available and functional.</li>
<li>Conduct emergency drills (fire drills, evacuation drills, etc.) to ensure workers are prepared in the event of an emergency.</li>
</ul>
Safety Reporting &amp; Documentation:
<ul>
<li>Maintain and update all safety-related documentation, including safety logs, incident reports, training records, and safety audits.</li>
<li>Submit weekly or monthly safety reports to the Safety Manager or Project Manager, summarizing site safety performance.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing safety reports for regulatory compliance and audits.</li>
</ul>
Collaboration &amp; Communication:
<ul>
<li>Serve as the main point of contact for safety-related matters on the jobsite or for drivers.</li>
<li>Work closely with drivers, dispatch, safety team, supervisors, workers, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and ensure proper safety procedures are being followed.</li>
<li>Encourage a culture of safety by promoting open communication and reporting of safety hazards or unsafe practices.</li>
<li>May be asked to cross train and act as dispatch in times of need for trucking needs.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred.</li>
<li>OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (required).</li>
<li>First Aid/CPR Certification (required).</li>
<li>Additional certifications such as OSHA 500, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) are a plus.</li>
<li>DOT knowledge and regulations for Commercial Drivers</li>
<li>FMCSA knowledge and regulations.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a construction safety role or DOT or law enforcement.</li>
<li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and construction industry best practices.</li>
<li>Must be 21 years or older</li>
<li>Must have a clean driving record; Recommended to bring 10-year MVR to interview.</li>
<li>Have a valid SC Driver’s license in good standing with clean MVR.</li>
<li>Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.</li>
