POSITION REPORTS TO: Executive Director, Lawyer Assistance Program&nbsp; HOURS: 30 hours per week (Monday through Friday) &nbsp;
If you are a qualified professional, fully licensed in New York State as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or an LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) working towards an LCSW, or a DSW, PhD, PsyD or psychologist, or an attorney with a mental health or substance use background and counseling experience, this is a wonderful opportunity to work for an outstanding organization.&nbsp;&nbsp;
This is a unique position, working in an established program that is solely dedicated to assisting members of the legal profession. The program provides hands-on services to lawyers, judges, law students, staff, and family members who are affected by a wide range of personal and professional issues, including stress, depression, anxiety, alcohol/substance use disorders, family and relationship issues, career concerns, caregiving and other issues that can interfere with the ability to function optimally. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who has previously worked with professionals. Knowledge of the legal system in New York State, especially as it pertains to admission to the bar and the grievance process, is a plus.&nbsp;&nbsp;
DEPARTMENT FUNCTION&nbsp;
The Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) is a program of the New York City Bar Fund Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit entity of the New York City Bar Association. LAP provides free, confidential help to lawyers, judges, law students, bar applicants, staff, and family members who are experiencing mental health, substance use, and any personal or professional problem that is impacting their well-being. LAP works with legal professionals, non-lawyers, and families in New York, Kings, Queens, Richmond, Bronx and Westchester Counties.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
LAP is committed to ensuring that every individual who contacts us for assistance is responded to promptly with unconditional support, care, and compassion. LAP has a long-standing reputation for assisting NYC BAR members, although bar membership is not required to access LAP services.&nbsp;
JOB FUNCTIONS&nbsp;
The role of the Clinical Manager is to work closely with the LAP Executive Director by contributing to the overall mission and goals of LAP, including, but not limited to assessing ways to best serve the local legal community.&nbsp;

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS&nbsp;

Position Summary
Our exciting Manager-In-Training (MIT) program gives you the opportunity to learn and grow at an established company with over 45 years of experience. <li>Training - Learning to be responsible for all training, quality control and in-servicing staff to meet HCSG standards is an essential part of the Manager’s responsibility and includes touring various areas at the facility several times per day to assess work quality using QCIs for documentation purposes. </li>
<li>Leadership - Learn to effectively handle managerial responsibilities as well, including but not limited to payroll submission, staffing patterns, effective coaching and discipline, purchasing, maintaining inventory, and budgeting.</li>

The Socio Therapist Role
The Socio Therapist assists and supports the Caseworker in providing services for children and families in the Enhanced Family Foster Care Program. What We’re Searching For
The Municipal Association of South Carolina is accepting resumes for the position of claims adjuster for the workers’ compensation insurance program.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Reviews, investigates, analyzes and adjusts workers’ compensation claims in accordance with current laws and regulations; and responsible for all aspects of each claim, including but not limited to, informal conferences and hearings, mediation and claims litigation.</li>
<li>Reviews, examines, monitors and reports on Medicare beneficiary compliance for worker compensation claims. </li>
<li>Travels occasionally in-state to conduct member visits; and meets with assigned members at their location for annual visits and as necessary to conduct investigations</li>
</ul>
Qualifications included but are not limited to: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or education and training equivalent to four years of college education in business administration, public administration, risk management or a closely related field</li>
<li>Minimum of three years of experience in subrogation or workers’ compensation claims adjudication. Public sector knowledge/experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid state driver’s license and a valid SC Claims Adjuster license. Associate in Claims designation is preferred. </li>
<li>Fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance legal and regulatory environment; proven ability to negotiate fair and equitable claims settlements; and demonstrated above average interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills, as well as written and verbal communication</li>
</ul>
