Summary
Join our team at the Milwaukee Document Processing Unit as a Mailroom Clerk. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for various tasks integral to the smooth operation of our document processing center. Your duties will include sorting and organizing incoming and outgoing mail, scanning and indexing documents into electronic case files, and providing face-to-face assistance to members. This multifaceted position also involves quality assurance reviews, data research, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient case management.
Your role in our mission

<li>Sort and collate incoming and outgoing mail, including batching, postage metering, counting, and filing.</li>
<li>Utilize Kofax software to scan, index, and upload documents into electronic case files.</li>
<li>Provide face-to-face assistance to members, answering questions about scanned documents.</li>
<li>Conduct quality assurance reviews on scanned and indexed documents.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to investigate, locate, and retrieve documents both physically and electronically.</li>

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. RESPONSIBILITIES Sort, prep and deposit checks into High Radius and the Corporate/SMS account and answer inquiries regarding check deposits Perform record management activities, such as scanning, validating, archiving and retention Accept, open, sort and distribute incoming mail and collect, prepare, and send outgoing mail Receive, sort, record and deliver packages from UPS, Fed Ex, Amazon, etc daily Keep dock and mailroom organized Stock office supplies throughout the campus Replenish paper at print stations throughout campus Set up/moving of tables, chairs, whiteboards etc. for conference room set ups as needed Support customer service window Identify and make recommendations for process improvements, keep process documentation current Weekly sorting of invoices/statements received followed by mailing to 3rd party scanning Weekly mailing of risk management documents accumulated from the mail to EBIX Scanning and emailing of Due Diligence letters to Unclaimed Property as needed QUALIFICATIONS Education High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent. Experience 0-1 year of experience. Experience with OpenText or similar document management software preferred. Experience with Fed Ex/UPS Package System, United States Postal Service, Document Management or similar preferred. Professional Skills Ability to select and apply standard policies and procedures. Able to resolve routine problems and questions independently. Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to furnish information to those requesting the status of a change. Basic computer proficiency, primarily Microsoft Office.
