The Academic Affairs Budget Director will lead the development of and provide responsibility for fiscal budgeting and planning functions within Academic Affairs as well as advising the Provost. The Associate Dean will play a crucial role in leadership for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) in the years ahead. The Associate Dean collaborates with the Dean and CEPS Administrative team on planning and implementing college strategic initiatives. This includes supporting CEPS administrative leaders in equity-focused program assessment and accreditation, culturally responsive curriculum and program development, cultivation of business and community partnerships, and strategic management of course offerings and scheduling for the college. The Associate Dean also has an important role in facilitating the implementation of policies and procedures related to the college and the university. The Role:
The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. Primary responsibilities include supervision, coordination and leadership for all curricular issues, general education, and graduate education; implementation of College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) courses, programs and strategic priorities; and policy coordination. The Associate Dean also serves on a variety of college and university committees and acts in the Dean's absence.&nbsp;
Job Duties Support for the Dean: -&nbsp;Collaborate with the Dean on planning college strategic initiatives, participate in college fundraising, and coordinate implementation of CEPS strategic priorities. -&nbsp;Provide CEPS administrative leaders support in areas of culturally responsive curriculum development, equity-focused institutional assessment and improvement, human resource management, faculty/staff development and performance evaluations, and budget and finance. -&nbsp;Support the Dean in decision-making, information gathering, report draft preparation, meeting attendance, and follow-through on matters assigned to the chairs and interdisciplinary program directors. -&nbsp;Collaborate with the other Associate Deans. -&nbsp;Collaborate to ensure program quality and effectiveness and to promote student learning, student satisfaction, and student retention in all student populations. -&nbsp;Attend Associate Deans and Academic Affairs meetings. -&nbsp;Act in the Dean’s absence.

Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in a discipline associated with programs represented in the College of Education and Professional Studies. A record of teaching effectiveness, professional leadership, and scholarship sufficient to support tenure in one of the CEPS’s academic departments. Demonstrated successful departmental or college-level administrative, leadership, and budget experience in an institution of higher education. Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of inclusion and equity issues within a residential liberal arts environment Collaborative and forward-thinking leadership style with the ability to cultivate and maintain strategic internal and external partnerships to benefit the success of students, colleagues, and initiatives. Associate Dean, College of Education & Professional Studies (CEPS)

The Chief of Endocrinology will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the&nbsp;Division. The Division Chief will be responsible for all planning, policy, operations, and&nbsp;oversight of academic, research, and clinical programs of the Division. The Chief of Endocrinology&nbsp;will have financial authority over the division&nbsp; budget, including extramural research and&nbsp;philanthropic funding received and other financial matters for the division, in accordance with&nbsp;applicable University policies and practices. The Chief of Endocrinology will have discretion in&nbsp;the recruitment and retention of division faculty who will have a direct reporting line. Qualified&nbsp;candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) or equivalent degree&nbsp;from an accredited institution and be eligible for a University of Arizona academic appointment at&nbsp;the Associate or Full Professor rank. The Chief of Endocrinology will also play a prominent role in&nbsp;the establishment of a Diabetes Research Center with the support of an ongoing University of&nbsp;Arizona (UA) capital campaign and the continued development of an NIH - T32 training program in&nbsp;diabetes, endocrine, and metabolism.

Division Chief of Endocrinology (Associate/Full Professor) (NTE/TE/T)

About the Positions
To meet areas of university strategic growth in global graduate education and impact, New hires will join an excellent, experienced and dynamic faculty and staff highly committed to exceptional education and student experience, the School for Professional Studies at Saint Louis University is seeking multiple, full-time faculty in the areas of information systems, cybersecurity, analytics, research methods and related disciplines.
All are open-rank, non-tenure track full-time faculty positions, with a nine-month contract running from August to May (renewed annually, with multi-year contracts possible after the first year). Candidates will teach up to seven graduate-level courses during the daytime with the bulk of the teaching occurring on campus. However, there is the possibility to teach select online sections if need dictates. There are also potential summer, flexible, online teaching opportunities.
As these are primarily teaching roles, research is supported but not required. However, active researchers and those with grants may be eligible for a reduction in teaching load. For interested faculty, potential or partial reduction in teaching load to maintain industry/professional practice in related area of expertise is an option. Additional expectations include limited service to support the program and School for Professional Studies as assigned by the appropriate Program Director in consultation with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
Faculty will join a community where teaching excellence is present and well-supported. Key Qualifications
Ideal candidates are cross-functional, with the ability to teach in more than one area. Exact courses will depend on program needs, although no new course preparation will be necessitated, as classes are already designed.
For the Master of Science in Information Systems program, candidates should have a Ph.D. in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. ABD candidates in these fields may be considered. The George Washington University Law Library seeks a qualified librarian for its Head of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services position to begin as early as September 15, 2023. As a member of the library’s dynamic, collaborative Instructional Technology Services team, the librarian in this position has primary oversight for the Office of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services. This position leads the development and delivery of services supporting the integration of library resources into the curriculum, the curation and use of the library’s growing electronic resources collection, the use of scholarly communication technologies and services, and the undertaking of digital initiatives. As the subject specialist for legal pedagogy and technology competency, this position works to improve student success by embedding the library in online teaching and learning spaces, integrating librarians into the face-to-face curriculum, and supporting faculty adoption of technologies to achieve learning outcomes.
