Position Overview:&nbsp;
A day in the life of a&nbsp;Healthcare Services Prevention Professional&nbsp;(HSPP)&nbsp;will include using your clinical knowledge and our training to provide program services on-site at the client location. The Healthcare Services Prevention Professional (HSPP) is part of the Health Center Injury Prevention &amp; Safe Patient Handling (HCIP/SPHM) team. The HSPP provides the consultative and injury prevention line of the HCIP/SPHM Program. Our primary goal is to develop strong relationship and assist in the overall well-being of&nbsp;the working athletes we serve.

Job Duties:
<ul>
<li>Provide onsite Healthcare Prevention services at up to three locations in the San Francisco Bay area.</li>
<li>Support the implementation of Health Center Injury Prevention &amp; Safe Patient Handling (HCIP/SPHM) strategies and employee safety programs for Briotix Health clients</li>
<li>Deliver Injury Prevention Program services through use of the Briotix Health PRO SYSTEMS, provide&nbsp;early discomfort management, job coaching services and conduct general workplace safety assessments</li>
<li>Facilitate onsite ergonomic assessments for identified ergonomic improvements and provide ergonomic training utilizing the Briotix Health ergonomics program</li>
<li>Conduct workplace safety assessments and rounding to healthcare system department areas to identify workplace hazards that require escalation and corrective action</li>
<li>Understand, implement, and follow all steps of the Early Discomfort Management (EDM) program</li>
<li>Create and maintain positive relationships</li>
<li>Support all required documentation to ensure client organizational compliance of HCIP/SPHM programs</li>

Qualifications 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.</li>
<li>Appropriate certifications and/or state license in good standing in each state where team member provides service.</li>
<li>Current CPR Certification CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, BLS Healthcare Provider, or equivalent certification.</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care.</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.</li>
<li>Ergonomic Certification or training preferred but not required.</li>
<li>1-2 years previous experience in industrial or office ergonomics, industrial sports medicine, functional employment testing, or job task analysis preferred but not required.</li>
<li>Must meet the physical demands of on-site work needs; ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, sitting, and or squatting*.</li>
