Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Experience with Paylocity is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>
Process bi-weekly/weekly payroll for employees using Paylocity
</li>
<li>
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely submission of tax filings and payments
</li>
<li>
Manage employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
</li>
<li>
Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data (e.g., new hires, terminations, wage changes)
</li>
<li>
Prepare and distribute payroll reports for internal stakeholders
</li>
<li>
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
</li>
<li>
Support audits and year-end processing (e.g., W-2s, 1099s)
</li>
<li>
Track paid time off, sick leave, and other employee benefits as they relate to payroll
</li>
</ul>
Requirements:

<li>
2+ years of payroll experience
</li>
<li>
Must have hands-on experience using Paylocity
</li>
<li>
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices
</li>
<li>
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
</li>
<li>
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
</li>
<li>
Proficiency in Excel and general office software
</li>
<li>
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
</li>
</ul>
