Job DescriptionLHH is partnering with a professional services firm to search for a temporary Payroll Specialist. The team needs someone for the next five months to cover a leave of absence. You will be working on a team and processing payroll for around 500 employees. It is preferred that the individual stepping into this position has at least five years of payroll processing experience and previous knowledge of UKG. Some training will be provided. Professional communication skills are important for this role since you will be responding to employee inquiries. Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process biweekly payroll for approximately 500 employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Review and verify employee timecards, deductions, and adjustments prior to payroll submission.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation with strict confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to support audits, reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of payroll processing experience.
  • Proficiency with UKG payroll systems or similar payroll software.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail for maintaining confidential records.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to respond to employee inquiries professionally and efficiently.

Employment Details:

  • Temporary for five months.
  • Fully in office in Seattle, WA.
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
