Complete and maintain Form I-9 records, including reverifications. &nbsp;

</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Conduct new hire check-ins and ensure the completion of new hire paperwork.&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
Other Administrative Tasks:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>
Assist in the in-boarding and off-boarding of employees (ie. create and manage Asana boards, communicate changes with internal teams, etc). &nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Coordinate and manage mandatory trainings (ie. sexual harassment prevention training, Workplace Violence Prevention Plan training, etc.) &nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Research, post, and distribute required labor law posters. &nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. &nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Handle employment and salary verifications.&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Provide back-up support for the Office Administrator including, but not limited to: restocking supplies, maintaining a clean office space, picking up and distributing physical mail, etc.&nbsp;

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>
1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a human resources or office setting&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>

<li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and collaboration tools such as Slack&nbsp;
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Demonstrated proficiency in learning new technologies and platforms&nbsp;

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity&nbsp;

What We Offer

$31.00 per hour; average 18&nbsp;hours per week; Expected work schedule: 4-5 hours per day, 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, flexible hours from 9am-5pm

POSITION SUMMARY:&nbsp;&nbsp; The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a broad range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR administration. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and management, supporting the implementation of HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.&nbsp; Routinely travels off site to perform duties, receive training or serve as a representative of Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.</li>
<li>Assist in addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and conducting investigations when necessary.</li>
<li>Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.</li>
<li>Provide support and coaching to managers and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective application of policies and procedures</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Recruitment and Onboarding (35%)
<ul>
<li>Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.</li>
<li>Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.</li>
<li>Maintain and update job descriptions as needed.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>HR Operations and Administration (5%)
<ul>
<li>Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data and generate reports as needed.</li>
<li>Update and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.</li>
