Concierge should also have a complete understanding of the reservation system in order to keep it organized and communicate details to guests as well as venue staff throughout operations. 
 In addition to responsibilities at the venue entrance and with reservations, Concierge (Front Desk) should be actively involved with guest hospitality throughout the venue. This is accomplished with awareness throughout each shift, and actively communicating with other staff members in every department.

· Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the Ticket Counter.
· Checks for restocking of necessary supplies. Brings all areas up to standard.
· Processes admission tickets to Guests.
· Ensures all financial transactions are correct.
· Operates credit card, gift card, and cash transactions properly.
· Accurately calculates change due to the Guest and returns appropriate amount in a timely matter.
· Maintains the security of a cash drawer and checks it in and out accurately every shift.
· Provides assistance to Guests’ special needs, such as helping those with disabilities.
· Directs Guests to restrooms, theaters, bars, ATM and other points of interest.
· Manages informational kiosk and display of event signs and posters.
· Keeps Managers fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action that may be taken.
· Performs shift change and/or opening or closing duties.
· Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
· Assists other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate.
· Performs a “Tech Check” of features weekly to ensure quality and to gain talking points for Guest interactions.
 
Qualifications:
· Ability to operate POS.
· Ability to make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift.
· Stands/walks 100% of shift.
· Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently.
· Ability to read and write English.
· Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Guests.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is typically performed in the restaurant environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs.
 
HAZARDS: Only those present in a normal restaurant setting; no known significant hazards. Work performed in the restaurant has minimal exposure to cleaning chemicals, cooking equipment along with minimal machinery with moving parts.

We are seeking a Concierge to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Concierge, you will play an important role in all phases of resident services that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:

<li>Coordinate hospitality service activities including general resident communications, guest reception, event planning, and problem solving any resident and guest needs or concerns.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain organized communications and reference systems at each concierge desk including rolodex, emergency vendor information, resident census, and all other systems necessary for effective community communications.</li>
<li>Serve as liaison with new resident upon move-in.</li>
<li>Act as liaison between resident with community by providing direction and assistance in resolving concerns, channeling concerns to the appropriate administrative or person, and conducting follow up as needed to ensure resolution. </li>
<li>Assist residents and associates with maintenance work orders by timely completing work order request and following up with maintenance team as needed on resolution.</li>
<li>Participate in various resident events and social groups to build and maintain relationships with community population.</li>
<li>Coordinate and lead the resident welcoming to provide social support to new residents.</li>
<li>Introduce new resident to community life through personal tours and building orientation, staff introductions, navigating the dining room, functions of the business office, and orientation to general amenities and services including concierge services.</li>
</ul>
What you'll bring:

<li>High School diploma or GED</li>
<li>Minimum one-year related experience</li>
<li>Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.</li>
<li>Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time; ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk.</li>
